Aerofoam® Aluglass Tape

Aluglass tape is an Aluminum- Glass Cloth backing (7u/FR Glue/12 X 12 Mesh Glass Cloth) combined with a high-performance solvent base adhesive; protected by an easy-release silicone release paper.

APPLICATIONS

  • Aluglass Tape is dedicated to NBR thermal insulations with Aluglass finishing
  • Duct board joint and seams; joining and sealing industrial pipes and ducts insulation
  • Lamination for air conditioning ducting systems
  • Roofing Application like flashing, joints and insulations
  • Duct sealing and joining for AC systems and an excellent barrier to vapor
  • General purpose holding, patching sealing applications-indoor and outdoor
  • Mechanical reinforcement of the joints (expansion and contraction)

PROPERTIES

  • Aluminum Glass cloth backing provides an excellent reflection of both heat and light
  • It is an excellent vapor barrier due to low moisture vapor transmission rate
  • Best result obtained when it’s applied to clean and dry surfaces without oil and grease
  • High quality adhesive with super strong adhesion and holding power offers reliable and durable Aluminum Glass
